A contribution to the syntaxonomic diversity of the Tazovsky Peninsula, Arctic Russia

Syntaxonomic diversity of the vegetation in southern tundra subzone Tazovsky Peninsula is represented by six associations, three subassociations and variants. Four associations (Dicrano maji–Salicetum lanatae Khitun ass. nov. hoc loco, Sphagno girgensohnii–Betuletum nanae Empetro subholarctici– Eriophoretum vaginati Eriophoro leiocarpi–Caricetum rotundatae loco), (Hierochloo alpinae– Hylocomietum splendentis empetretosum subholarctici subass. typicum caricetosum chordorrhizae loco) variants are described for first time. A high degree similarity was found between part Gydansky (the typical subzone). They have four common, whereas with northern there only one association common.
